Local Rules

»  Out of Bounds (Rule 27)


On or beyond the perimeter boundary wall surrounding the course
White stakes on the left of the 11th fairway (maintenance sheds), behind the 11th green, to the right and behind the 14th Green, Within the clubhouse area on or beyond the path behind the 9th & 18th Green, The Driving Range

»  Water Hazard (Rule 26)


Water Hazards are lakes at holes 5, 7, 11, 12 and 16 and any other water hazard marked by yellow stakes.
Lateral Water Hazards are drains and streams running anywhere on the course, whether or not they contain water, and any other water hazard marked by red stakes.

»  Immovable Obstructions (Rule 24)


All paved or concrete paths and steps and gazebo shelters within the course.
All fixed sprinkler heads, drainage grates, and distance marker posts.
Line of sight relief is provided for the Protection Fences around green 4 and tee 5.
Protected trees that are identified by a white stake or with white paint.
If such a tree interferes with a player's stance or area of intended swing the ball must be lifted without penalty, and dropped as per Rule 24-2b.

»  Practice Areas (Rule 33-2c)


The practice green, practice pitching area, and the Bunker, all next to the 1st Hole.

»  Loose Impediments (Rule 24-1)


Stones in bunkers are movable obstructions.

»  Ground Under Repair (Rule 25)


Hoof marks on any closely mown area through the green are ground under repair only if the ball lies on or touches a hoof mark. (Rule 25-1b applies). Hoof marks on the green may be repaired.
All other Ground Under Repair (GUR) areas are marked with white chalk and/or white stakes. Play is prohibited from these marked GUR areas.

Note: The Committee may make a Local Rule denying the player relief from interference with his stance by an abnormal ground condition.
